There will be an advised pre-bid conference for this project on October 28th, 2021 at 10:00 am at Parks Department Offices located at: 3335 Pine Tar Alley, Southaven, MS 38672
Project Description:
This project consists of renovations and additions to the Snowden Grove Amphitheater in Southaven, MS.
Base bid additions include new cast-in-place concrete upper bowl with approx. 5,000 fixed seats, light towers and party decks, new restroom and commissary buildings, and removal/ replacement of box office entry canopy along with new entry canopies at the south and west entrances. Site improvements include new fencing and all utilities to be located at alternate sites.
Add alternates consist of new merch/ cafe building, café addition and merch canopy, vip lounge, entry and plaza, concessions and storage at the south entry gates, new restroom building, and new concessions buildings at the west entry gates.
Most new buildings consist of slab-on-grade concrete foundations, cmu block walls with standing seam cladding over r7.6 rigid insulation and standing seam roof on light gauge trusses with r-38 batt insulation at the bottom chords of trusses. Weather barriers consist of a liquid applied weather barrier on cmu block and continuous ice & water shield over roof decking.
