Centennial Bell Tower

1. Construction of a new steel-framed Centennial Bell Tower clad in masonry, stucco, GFRC, cast stone and architectural precast concrete, with LED uplighting, LED back-lit Clock Cannisters on each cupula face, speakers powered by remote programmable carillon console, speakers and other bell tower equipment (per Section 11 78 16). 2. A plaza around the tower base paved in brick pavers bordered with concrete, flanked with new cast stone and masonry raised planters. 3. A large bronze medallion, centered beneath the tower and inset into the pavers. 4. A masonry-framed cast stone face with inset lettering and logo at north plaza boundary. 5. New concrete curbs and gutters and landscaped/sodded islands and other site improvements at existing crosswalk locations. 6. New LED fixtures at existing band field light poles. 7. All civil and electrical work as indicated. 8. Demolition as required to accommodate new construction. 9. All temporary fences, and general protection system for the students, faculty, and public for this portion of the Work. 10. Protection of existing sidewalks, fencing, landscaping, etc. to remain.
